10 Low-Calorie Foods to Use in Your Everyday Life

What are Low-Calorie Foods?

The term Calorie can be defined as a unit of energy. Most of the foods and beverages we consume daily provide calories to our body. Calories fuel our cells and keep our bodies working efficiently. Everyday, we burn calories through both exercise and normal activities, such as breathing, eating, and sleeping.

In order to lose weight, you have to expend more calories than you take in. Or as I like to say it, "Calories in vs. calories out." To do this, you can either reduce your daily caloric intake or you can increase your physical activity.
